Prepare for a feast of the senses with Carmina Burana by the Royal Winnipeg Ballet! Choreographed by internationally acclaimed artist Mauricio Wainrot, this electrifying work fuses bold, athletic movement with Carl Orff’s thunderous cantata to create a visceral experience that transcends traditional storytelling. What emerges is a celebration of the human spirit in all its complexity: it’s a work that demands everything of its dancers and leaves audiences exhilarated, moved, and inspired – one of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s standout performances.

This powerful program also features T’əl: The Wild Man of the Woods, choreographed by RWB Choreographer in Residence Cameron Fraser-Monroe. Rooted in the oral traditions of the Tla’amin Nation, this evocative new ballet tells the story of a mysterious figure who abducts children under the cover of night—until a brave young woman sets out to rescue her sister.
