Slow Food Chicago Book Club Feat. The Serviceberry

Join us for our spring book club where we'll dive into Robin Wall Kimmerer's latest, The Serviceberry! Join us at the Merlo Branch, Chicago Public Library for a cozy evening discussing this refreshing and activating book. Our guided discussion will explore the importance of serviceberries and the "gift economy" in our food system, and much more.

We'll be meeting in the Large Meeting Room at the Merlo Branch library. Feel free to bring some local eats to share with the group! Bring your thoughts, questions, and appetite for great conversation.
