May 31 Road Rave, Pope Leo XIV

We are skating a Pope Leo XIV route, to the hospital where he was born, Rate Field where the White Sox play, etc. This skate is for fun. We are not trying to proselytize (convert) anyone. How often is the pope from your hometown?
Join Windy City Skaters for a fun recreational 12–14 mile urban street skate. Helmet & Waiver required. We stop at red lights and keep to a bike lane or one car lane. Intermediate skate skills needed. You should be able to stop, turn, and skate over or around road hazards such as cracks, potholes, rocks, sticks, curbs, railroad tracks, hills, etc. It is not a race. We stop and regroup a lot.
