Kick It and Sketch

Join us for a fun afternoon on the closing day of our current exhibition, "Art for the Sole 2"! Kick It and Sketch is an opportunity for you to unleash your creativity in a welcoming and inspiring environment with fellow artists and friends. Some supplies will be available but we encourage you to bring your favorite sketchpads, pencils, pens or markers. Space is limited so please plan on limiting your time to 90 minutes so others can participate. Beer courtesy of Goose Island but you are also welcome to BYOB.

“Art for the Sole” (curated by Joe Nelson and John N Yaou) celebrates sneakers as an art form. The artists use sneaker silhouettes as a vessel to create one of a kind works that demonstrate the impact of art within this subculture. For the 2nd rendition of the show, artists will continue to build on the creative exploration of the influence of art on sneaker culture, using their unique styles and mediums on a custom wood cut out. Exhibiting artists include Aaron “Ace” Rhaburn, AJ Ainscough, Ali Six, Am Woo, Andi Ink, Ant Ben, BirdMilk, Blake Jones, Corey Singletary, Courtney Collins, Cujo, Czr Prz, Darius Dennis, Delisha, Dome, Don Mega, Elloo, Everett Reynolds, Fantasía Ariel, Fedz, Isamar Medina, Jamiah Calvin, J.
