Each year, The Impostors Theatre Company’s mission to stage stories at the crossroads of retrospect and innovation, where the fantastic collides with the everyday, becomes a little sharper in focus. Wherever there is a juxtaposition of fact and fiction, wherever two truths can coexist—The Impostors are there, ready to pen the story. In the last six seasons, we’ve produced seventeen entirely original works. This commitment to showcasing new material is a cornerstone of the ensemble’s vision. As we enter our seventh season of productions, we prepare for another exciting collection of never-before-told stories.
For the 2025-2026 season, The Impostors will perform out of our resident home in The Crosby at The Den Theatre. Thematically, this season’s stories examine the relationship between our inner monsters and our outward foes along the circular path of retreat and reclamation. The action will play out on the various crossroads that capture our fascination year after year–growth and stasis, truth and deception, life and death.
