Calm Collective: Meditation, Breathwork, Live Music, Group Conversations

Quality Time Company is honored to announce the calm Collective featuring Austin Peters- a night of improvised ambient electronic guitar, a guided meditation, poetry, visualization, and group conversations. If you're a lover of live group mindfullness, looking to tap into a more conscious community, and explore some new healing modalities, then this one is for you.

Quality Time Company is an alcohol-free community that designs events inspired by sharing vulnerability, grounded connection, and reinventing how we meet new friends and gather as people in real life. We are on a mission to heal loneliness in Chicago.

Calm Collective is a place to breathe and immerse yourself in the rhythm of an improvised classical music journey- one with regulated, slow moments and others that will be a bit more challenging and activating. Our meditation will be led by Founder Derrick Mathy alongside the live musical soundscape of Austin Peters.

We are so honored to be collaborating with Austin Peters for this Calm Collective. Austin is a composer, guitarist, and director of music production. Austin will be producing a looped, ambient set live for the meditation and breathwork. The melodies he intuitively constructs are deeply grounding and offer spaciousness for mindful exploration.

This transformative energy will carry us into our final portion: group conversations. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the questions: Who am I when I am in the company of strangers? How do I show up? What version of myself do I want to give more life to?
