Beginner's Night Crochet Class

This beginner crochet course will cover the following topics:

• the best crochet tools for beginners like hook size and style
• yarn fiber types, weights and colors
• where supplies can be purchased and prices
• basic crochet stitches as well as tips and tricks for the best experience

This will be an experience where all attendees can get acquainted with each other in family friendly envirnoment, where respectful free creative exploration and expression is encouraged. Though crochet can seem complex, whether left handed, right handed or ambidextrous, it will be simple and fun. Space will be made for the exchanging of ideas for future projects either mutually agreed upon by the group or based on one's comfort ability.

We'll spend 2 hours together creating, learning, and building memories.

One ticket per person.

Never crocheted before? Don't worry! Our Night Crochet Class is beginner friendly. Our amazing teacher will get you started from scratch. All the tools and materials are provided.

Our Night Crochet Class allows participants to share their own tips and tricks throughout their learning process. No one is rushed and each can work at their own pace. The overall intent is to come away with with multiple benefits whether it be learning something new, therapeutic crafting, meeting new people or connecting with familiar faces, starting a crochet business or just for fun, the experience and benefits are up to each one.

Anyone interested in learning is welcome. By the end of each meetup one can expect to take home a new skill, a greater awareness of their creative abilities and their very own original, handmade by them, crochet samples along with a basic yet valuable knowledge that hopefully inspires more creativity and joy looking forward to the abundance of possibilities of the beauty one can create.

Epic Art House teachers are incredibly talented individuals with a love for helping other find their full potential. They will help you learn a new skill, increase the knowledge you already havve, and have a great time during the entire process.

I’ve been into a multitude of creative arts since I was a child. I first learned crochet around age eight, through my Great Grandmother and also my Grandmother who sewed, crocheted and knitted her own clothes, created her own crochet and macrame wall and table decor, made her own area rugs and taught crochet classes at her church. I picked up crochet again in my early twenties just as a hobby and have been consistently crocheting for the past 8 years with a passion, falling in love with how the creative abilities with fiber arts continues expanding all over the world.

My crochet work is generally freestyle, incorporating a combination of techniques, experimenting with crochet stitches to see what kinds of patterns and textures they will make for functional crochet art.
