Art in the Park / Arte en el Parque - NEW DATE: AUG 9th

Due to Unpredictable Weather We Are Changing the date to August 9th!

Unity Park Advisory Council in collaboration with AnySquared will be hosting their 17th annual Art in the Park / Arte en el Parque! Our theme this year: We Find Home in Chosen Families!

Excited for all to explore our community park, make all kinds of art, and share with our neighbors! Help to add to the patchwork house and create a piece that reflects your chosen family! Select a canvas, pick the perfect brush and select your favorite colors to paint with family and friends. Make a Wire Sculpture! Enjoy the Craft Corner! Fun for families at Unity Park’s annual open air art studio!“I can’t wait to see everyone again at Unity Park for Art in the Park ...What will you create?”— Helen Sanchez-Cortes, AnySquared artist and lead organizer of this year’s event.

EXCITING ACTIVITIES:

• PAINT TOGETHER: Families grab a canvas and paints and make art!

• LIVE ART: Check out community artists and friends!

• CRAFT CORNER: Make a treasure box or a multi-media collage for a friend!

• WIRE SCULPTURES! Make sculptures and hang from the gazebo!

• REFLECT YOUR CHOSEN FAMILY: Contribute a piece to the house!

This event is FREE to the public, all art supplies are provided, along with refreshments, and music
