2025 K-Town to Chinatown Chicago K-Pop Dance Competition
Chinatown and Taste of Korea Chicago are thrilled to announce that we are returning this year to host the annual Chinatown K-Pop Dance Competition!

Submissions are due by May 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT.
Only 15 crews will advance to the finals.
Items Required for Sign-Up
● Name of solo, duet, or crew. (NO sub-units allowed).
● State whether competing as a crew, duet, or solo.
● A maximum of eight members per crew.
●Submit a YouTube audition video to any K-Pop song by May 10 at 11:59 PM.
○ Please note that we will not accept late submissions.
You will receive a confirmation email once we get the information we need.
Finals Competition Rules
Saturday, July 26, 2025
● You must pass the online preliminaries.
● A contract will be provided (PLEASE SIGN IT AND BRING IT WITH YOU THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION).
● Crews cannot exceed eight members.
● Each dance must be four minutes.
○ Remixes are allowed.
○ Competitors are not limited to one artist and may mix multiple artists for their set.
● The song must be 100% K-Pop.
○ English versions are not permitted.
● The dance must be a K-pop cover.
○ However, competitors are allowed to add personal flair.
Prizes
1st Place: $500 + Trophy
2nd Place: $200
3rd Place: $100
