About the Book~
"Sugar Bee the Fairy" by Camie A. Putchaven is a children's book about a "pollinator fairy" named Sugar Bee who lives in the woods. The story follows her as she explores, finds lost treasures, and spreads kindness to her woodland friends. The book is intended for ages 3-8 and aims to teach children about compassion, recycling, and being gentle with nature and others. It emphasizes that you don't need to be tiny or have wings to be a fairy, and that anyone can make a "magical difference" by being kind.
We will start the morning with a yogurt parfait bar for the kids, and coffee for the grown-ups! The book reading will commence at 10:40, and every child will receive a signed paperback copy of the book, along with free stickers and bookmarks!
*OPTIONAL: Upgrade to upgrade to a hard cover version at an additional cost the day-of
After the reading, kids will create the crafts that are in the back of the book using recycled + found items!
*PLEASE NOTE: Every child must have a pre-paid ticket to this event; sorry, we will not be able to accept walk-ins. *No refunds on events.
