Batting for bats

In the month when we'll be celebrating International Bat Night, we'll also be asking can people really be expected to prioritise nature conservation when there are so many demands on our pockets and time? When it comes to securing our future, yes is the simple answer, nature conservation is a priority. Bats are a great example of a group of diverse and often misunderstood species, who are essential players in both human dominated and natural environments.
We will find out why these species are so important from Helen Taylor-Boyd who is a bat ecologist and conservationist.
