Drowning Prevention Talk

Drowning Prevention 101 is a free community event designed to educate and empower residents with essential water safety knowledge. Hosted by Cheshire Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Chesprocott Health District, this session will be held on August 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cheshire Community Pool.

Participants will learn about the real risks of drowning, debunk common myths, and gain valuable tips on supervision and water safety for all ages. The program will cover safe practices around pools, lakes, and beaches, and provide practical advice for parents, caregivers, and swimmers to help prevent water-related accidents.
