We will be holding a FREE Zen Day taster session with local practitioner Emma Hudson.
This will give a flavour of her forthing event in September and visitors to the taster ession will receive a 20% discount off the price of a ticket for the full session.
The ZEN DAY WORKSHOP - 'When a Monster Calls..' - will take place on
Sat 6th Sept @ The White Hill Centre, Chesham 10am - 4pm
The cost for the whole day is £30. This fee includes lunch, tea, coffee, snacks, and all necessary materials.
· Join us for an immersive 6-hour workshop where we will explore an excerpt from Patrick Ness's book, "A Monster Calls."
· We will delve into the themes of acceptance and letting go as highlighted in the book, specifically from a Zen perspective.
· We will explore the implications when our personal 'Monsters' call.. and examine the Buddhist concept of the Hungry Ghost.
· Lunch will be provided, and we will eat in silence to complement our day of Zen practice.
· The workshop will spark creativity throughout the day and conclude with a session of creative writing.
· ABSOLUTLEY NO EXPERIENCE OF ZEN, CREATIVE WRITING OR KNOWLEDGE OF THE BOOK IS REQUIRED - Just bring an open mind and a smile!
