Level Up: Workshops for Young Scientists!
S.T.E.A.M education helps student develop their critical thinking skills in a more innovative way!
This can prepare students for future career opportunities and solve real-world problems in a creative way.
Artists and Inventors for Grades 6-8 Join us for this workshop on Friday, June 27th at 2pm
In Artists and Inventors, students explore innovators like Ada Lovelace through hands-on projects—building bridges, kaleidoscopes, or coded bracelets—while connecting art, science, and invention.
There are six STEAM workshops (three workshops for grades 3-5 and three workshops for grades 6-8) with the Rhode Island Computer Museum this summer - attend them all or drop in to any!
Grades 3-5
BioDesign - Monday, June 23rd at 2pm
Young Engineers Society - Monday, June 30th at 2pm
Artists and Inventors - Monday, August 18th at 2pm
Grades 6-8
Artists and Inventors - Friday, June 27th at 2pm - This one!
BioDesign - Friday, July 11th at 2pm
Creating Sparks Crafting Stories with AI - Friday, August 1st at 2pm
Seats are limited - and you can register in advance by calling the Library at 617-466-4350, but registration is not necessary. Some classes may run for up to 90 minutes.
