Hey everybody! We are planning a backpacking trip to the little town of Stehekin, WA! This is my first event ever and I am really excited to host this! Please join us for some fun adventuring! Here's the details of our trip.
Plan to arrive at the, Lady of the Lake/Chelan Boat Company (1418 W Woodin Ave. Chelan, WA 98816) by no later than 8am. We will be taking the 8:30am ferry to Stehekin. (Fare: $43 one way) (Vehicle parking fee: $11 per night)
Total hiking distance roughly 22 - 30 miles (Depending on time)

Day 1 - Friday
Arrival to the Stehekin (roughly 11am)
Quick town exploration and regroup - can visit the pastry shop or any other points of interest
There are a number of FCFS campgrounds - Find open site and set up camp
Hike:
Rainbow Loop Trail and Rainbow Falls
Roughly 6.8 miles - 1361ft elevation gain
Return to Camp

Day 2 - Saturday
Early start, Daypack only
(Food and Hydration before hike)
Hike:
McGregor Mountain Trail
Roughly 14.4 Miles - 6407 elevation gain
Return to camp by evening time

Day 3 - Sunday
Early start, clean up and pack out
Hike: (dependent on time)
Stehekin River Trail
Roughly 8.1 miles - 649 ft elevation gain
Break camp and head back into town
Catch the 12:30pm ferry back to Chelan
Roughly arrive at Chelan at 3 - 315PM

$43 dollars one way per ferry ride ($86 total - before taxes)
Overnight parking $11 per night ($22 total - before taxes)
