Chamberfest Cheboygan series: Orion Weiss performs Bach's "Goldberg Variations"

Orion Weiss returns to the Opera House, this time for a solo appearance featuring Bach's "Goldberg Variations".

One of the most sought-after soloists and chamber music collaborators of his generation, Weiss is widely regarded as a “brilliant pianist” (The New York Times) with “powerful technique and exceptional insight” (The Washington Post). With a warmth to his playing that outwardly reflects his engaging personality, Weiss’s “delicate, even fingerwork” (Washington Classical Review) and “head-spinning range of colors” (Chicago Tribune) have dazzled audiences around the world. He has performed with all of the major orchestras of North America, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic.

For his program at the Opera House Weiss will perform one of the most beloved and monumental works for the piano: Bach’s complete Goldberg Variations.

Individual tickets are $30 Adults / $25 Veterans. Or purchase the whole series of 6 Chamberfest concerts for $150.
