Hello dear Chattanooga friends interested in dancing!
I would like to invite you to a few hours of dancing. We are trying a new concept - dancing in community spaces, in public. Please feel free to bring your non-dancing friends, family and children - this is a community event!
Most of locals know about the beautiful ice-cream shop by the Walnut bridge. We will meet in that courtyard in front of it. Its possible that we will actually be able to dance inside (that is still pending approval by the owner). If not, I will bring a vinyl floor covering and we will dance outside in the courtyard.
Besides tango, we will be dancing some waltzes, swing, blues and jazz. The Chattanooga Vintage Dancers will join us in this event.
And of course, enjoy the very delicious ice-cream!
This event is free of charge, but if you would like to support local small business, you are encouraged to get an ice-cream, tea or coffee from the cafe!
