On August 29th 2025, we invite you to participate in a community blood drive to honor the life of Julia Santos alongside her colleagues, friends, and family.
Julia was a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Elevate Behavior Services from July 2020 until she passed away on August 12, 2024 from Acute Myeloid Leukemia, just shy of her 32nd birthday. During this time she served as a BCBA, mentor, advocate, role model, and great friend. She was the driving force behind many of Elevate's programs, including the creation of Elevate Academy and RISE.
Julia was a quiet but fierce advocate for inclusion and equity. She was deeply committed to supporting individuals with special needs, promoting mental health, and uplifting underserved communities. Her passion was always making sure people felt seen, heard, and valued. Julia was also a lover of game nights, true crime, and Spongebob.
In honor of her life, legacy, and upcoming birthday, Elevate will dedicate August 29th as a day to remember and celebrate Julia.
