Get Creative with Screen Printing – Free Workshop!

Join Xtina from Intra Arts for a fun, hands-on screen printing session as part of Sun Pier House’s 300 Steps to the River community project.

In this FREE 45-minute workshop, you’ll get the chance to decorate a giant sailing pennant that will be proudly displayed during the Festival of Chatham Reach. We’ll be printing a selection of stencils with a local theme celebrating Chatham, building up a detailed and layered design with overlapping prints, on a large scale textile flag. Once completed, the flag will be flown from sailing vessels and used at community events with connections to the river.

This workshop is perfect for those aged 8 and over and it can get messy so please don't wear your best clothes. The workshop will be held in the new fully accessible ground floor Creation Space at Sun Pier House. It’s FREE to take part, but you’ll need to book a ticket to guarantee entry.
