Led by the unstoppable Mama Didi, the deluded and reigning monarch in her own imagination, and her operatic only begotten drag son Castrati—a soprano so sharp he could shatter bottles of real maple syrup—this campy cabaret is a love letter to the true north, strong, fabulous, and FREE.
This isn’t just a show—it’s an act of drag defiance wrapped in plaid, powered by punchlines, and spilling piping hot sovereign-TEA. From satirical skits to live musical numbers that range from Céline to Shania (with a detour through Alanis), Queerly Canadian is reclaiming Canada’s queer stage, one rhinestone at a time and with slightly less makeup than that guy in the White House.
Come for the laughs, stay for the legacy, and leave with your patriotism properly plucked, placed, and paraded.
