Family Ties

Music runs in the family for these two acts from Evangeline, PEI! Caroline Bernard and Rèmi Arsenault are musicians, authors, composers and multi-instrumentalist who harmonize their love of music with their 3 sons, Riel, Benoît and Maxime. This musical family has captured hearts with their infectious live shows, keeping the Acadian musical tradition alive and thriving. Pulling double-duty, Caroline and Rèmi are also members of Gadelle; a four-piece traditional French-Acadian band. Together, with two former members of the international touring group Barachois, Gadelle play and dance with ferocity and conviction, trading instruments and steps while putting on one heck of a show. It’s an Evangeline experience in Fort Augustus – the reel deal!
