Extra Solar Viewing (weather permitting)

We are adding this extra viewing date since we have had poor weather for two consecutive viewings. In the event of cloudy weather, we will cancel this viewing. We do have other viewings scheduled later in August: https://fb.me/e/8BFY44tcn

At this event, you will get a safe view of the sun by looking through our solar telescopes. You'll see sunspots on the photosphere, prominences in the chromosphere, and learn what those terms mean and how magnetic activity on the sun is causing them.
