Join Lifetime Learning and our Museum partners at the University of Virginia’s Fralin Museum of Art for an enriching afternoon of art appreciation and wine! The Fralin’s education team will lead engaging gallery tours and workshops centered around the museum’s current exhibitions: Between Hand and Scroll: Torah Pointers from the Barr Collection, O’ Powa O’ Meng: The Art and Legacy of Jody Folwell, and Joan Mitchell: Uncovering 100 Years. Participants will be guided through exercises in close-looking, communication, and reflection, fostering deeper connections with art and each other.
Before concluding our program, attendees are invited to a unique wine and art pairing experience presented by Tiffany Nguyen, co-owner and operator of Ethos Wine & Tea. This session will feature bespoke tasting notes, allowing participants to engage all their senses and further enrich their exploration.

Zora Heard is the Manager of School & Teacher Programs at The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia. Since joining the museum in 2022, Heard has worked to support local teachers by developing arts integration curriculum and coordinating and leading Writer’s Eye, one of the museum’s hallmark annual programs.

M. Jordan Love is the Carol R. Angle Academic Curator at The Fralin Museum of Art and an Affiliated Faculty in the Department of Art at the University of Virginia. Love has led the curatorial and education departments at the museum since 2012, notably developing the Clinician’s Eye program offered to all first-year UVA medical students.
Karen E. Milbourne, J. Sanford Miller Family Director, The Fralin Museum of Art, University of Virginia
Karen Milbourne is the J. Sanford Miller Family Director of The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia. Before joining The Fralin in 2024, Milbourne was a senior curator at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art for over 15 years.
Keyandra Morris, Tour & Program Coordinator, The Fralin Museum of Art, University of Virginia
Keyandra Morris is the Tour and Program Coordinator for The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia. A graduate of the University, Morris has been with The Fralin since 2021, overseeing the day-to-day management of the museum’s many educational tours and programs.

The Culbreth Road Garage, located in the Arts Grounds at 130 Culbreth Road, is available for hourly visitor parking and is the closest parking garage to The Fralin Museum of Art at 155 Rugby Road. Hourly parking may be paid via the ParkMobile app.
The Central Grounds Garage is conveniently located under the University Bookstore at 400 Emmet Street. Hourly parking may be paid via the ParkMobile app.

Refund Policy:
If Lifetime Learning (via Susan) receives your cancellation email before midnight on May 6, 2025, you will receive a refund of 50% of your registration fee.
If Lifetime Learning (via Susan) receives your cancellation email after midnight on May 6, 2025, no refund will be issued.
