Grow your career through volunteerism! This webinar aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to leverage their volunteer experiences for career advancement. Key topics include: understanding the value of volunteering for career growth, strategically choosing volunteer opportunities, maximizing your volunteer experience, and translating volunteer experience into career success. By participating in this workshop, individuals can identify possible volunteer opportunities and gain the tools and strategies needed to effectively leverage their volunteer work to advance their careers and achieve their professional goals.
Mariane Asad Doyle is the Executive Director/CEO of Virginia’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE). She has been a leader in nonprofits, education, and for-profit businesses for 30 years and she is passionate about community impact, cross-sector collaboration, and systems-thinking. Most recently, Dr. Doyle served as Chief Culture Officer at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, and Director of Human Resources, Equity Services, and Athletics at the William S. Hart Union High School District. Her commitment to leadership includes the attainment of a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Higher Education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Dr. Doyle has served on several nonprofit boards and is currently serving as the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Public Policy Committee.
