William Green plays tribute to Crossover Keyboardist George Duke

JD’s Sunday Smooth presents jazz vocalist and pianist William Green with a tribute to the great crossover keyboardist George Duke.

Two-time Grammy winning George Duke (1946–2013) was a supremely versatile keyboardist who effortlessly crossed musical boundaries. His music was characterized by a potent blend of jazz fusion, funk, soul, and R&B, showcasing his virtuosity on the piano and synthesizers with an infectious, funky groove. His prolific solo career and extensive collaborations cemented a legacy as a true master of modern Black music.
