A tree cannot thrive alone on its own. Root systems from the forest floor intertwine to provide safety, structure, and community reciprocity.
This event honors how we, like the forest, thrive when we have strong community systems in place. Join us for storytelling, journaling, and a community open mic!
Co-facilitated by Libba Moore and Maggie Lowe! Maggie is a soulful musical storyteller, pairing irreverent wit with sides of spice and sass. Like honey-sweetened tea on a hot summer day, their songs are inspired by always-sincere and often-funny tales of love and identity, pulling together threads of the human experience that everyone can relate to
The evening will include:
🌿 A grounding opening activity
📝 Guided journaling prompts
🎤 A featured performance by Maggie
🎙️ An open mic for community members to share personal stories
This event welcomes both seasoned artists and curious beginners. It’s a space where vulnerability is honored and creativity is nurtured.
🌱 We believe storytelling is a sacred act of healing—both personal and collective. When we gather to listen and share, we make room for empathy, transformation, and joy. Come ready to witness, to be inspired, and maybe even to speak. Every story matters.
