Tosco Music Open Mic is held on *first Tuesdays* of every month at The Evening Muse - please spread the word! Doors open at 6 PM. Show starts at 6:30pm
Each Tosco Music Open Mic enjoys a unique gathering of music lovers of all kinds -- you might see a 9 year old stun you with his a capella version of a soul classic, a 70 year old surprise you with a sweet ballad, a 40-something banker-by-day, singer-songwriter-by-heart share an original song, or a trio of teens take the room by storm with unexpected skill and talent.
Tosco Music audiences are the most enthusiastic supporters of musicians of all kinds, and first-time performers of all ages are especially welcomed.
We never know who we'll see or what special gifts of music we'll be treated to -- come enjoy the music, or share your own!
Sign ups start at 6 PM. Anyone can sign up to perform! Performance slots are first come, first pick, although order may be slightly rearranged to accommodate young students who need the earliest times slots.
This is a MUSIC-ONLY family-friendly open mic with kids performing as well as adults. We provide a PA system with 4 microphones, 2 DI boxes, drums, bass amp, a keyboard, and one music stand. Drummers should bring their own cymbals (including hi-hat). Live music is preferred, but singers can email a track to the sound tech when they arrive at The Evening Muse the night of their performance.
A cover charge of $5 at the door goes to the venue. Adults visiting The Evening Muse for the first time will pay an additional annual $1 membership registration. Guests under 17 need an accompanying adult to enter.
