We are thrilled to announce we are hosting our second-annual sensory-friendly Trunk or Treat event at our IAA North Campus on Saturday, 10/25 from 4-6PM.
Our Trunk or Treat event is an inclusive and sensory-friendly experience tailored for children with special needs and their families. Enjoy a safe, welcoming environment where every child can participate in the magic of trick-or-treating, free from the typical barriers that can make traditional events challenging.
At our Trunk or Treat, you’ll find thoughtfully decorated trunks, each offering treats and non-food goodies suitable for children with allergies and specific dietary needs. The event will feature low-sensory spaces, with no loud noises or bright lights, allowing guests to enjoy Halloween at their own pace. Beyond collecting treats, kids can engage in fun games and activities that encourage social interaction and skill-building in a supportive atmosphere.
We welcome costumes, but understand they’re not for everyone—come as you are, and know there will be no awkward questions. This event is open to all family members, so bring siblings along to share in the fun!
We are also in need of candy donations and volunteers to decorate their trunks!
