Information Mulan (2020) is a live-action Disney reimagining of the Chinese folk tale, featuring Yifei Liu as a young woman who disguises herself as a man to take her ailing father's place in the Imperial Army. Directed by Niki Caro, this grittier, PG-13 adaptation focuses on martial arts, honor, and duty, omitting songs and the dragon character Mushu from the 1998 animated version.
