We are thrilled to gather this Saturday at our former retreat location, at Greatwoods Nature. This is a private land with walking meditation trails through 27 acres of gorgeous forest, pond life, fawns, turtles, frogs, and a moss garden.

We welcome you to join us for our weekly Day of Mindfulness, followed by a light potluck lunch and time for connection.
Our mindfulness practice is based in our root tradition of Plum Village Zen, however, people of all faiths and those with no spiritual tradition are wholeheartedly welcome to join. No prior experience is necessary.
Our day will include:
Guided and silent meditation
Outdoor mindful walking in a beautiful forest setting (weather permitting)
A sharing, reading or video about the practice of Mindfulness
Group Dharma sharing
Community drinks and snacks
If the weather does not permit outdoor activities, we may remain indoors.
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so you can arrive and settle in peacefully.
We will practice together from 10am to 1:00pm.
After closing, we invite you to enjoy community time with snacks and beverages, and you’re welcome to bring light offerings such as fruits or nuts to share.
Optional items to bring: A water bottle, cushion for sitting (we have some as well), a journal and an open heart.
Also, on rainy days, bring a rain coat, boots you don't mind getting muddy and an umbrella in case we decide the rain is light enough to venture outside.
We offer this event in the spirit of Dana (generosity of the heart), and there is no expectation for a donation. However, as we do have rent and bills to pay, everyone is welcome to donate money, light snacks for the potluck or just help with washing up or cleaning up so that we can continue to offer this as a place of refuge for the whole community.

We begin with ~15 minutes of quiet mindful eating, followed by relaxed social time with Sangha.
