Welcome To The Lowcountry brought to you by Gullah Collective during Piccolo Spoleto 2025.

We are proud to present to you sounds of the Lowcountry presented by a 9 piece band, founded and lead by Calvin Baxter II.

Gullah Collective will be performing original music that is inspired by the lowcountry. We will be featuring 2x Grammy Award winners, Quiana Parler and Charlton Singleton and more!

Drawing from the rich musical traditions of the Lowcountry, Gullah Collective blends jazz, roots, R&B, and gospel, all while honoring the deep historical connections to West African rhythms and storytelling that define the Gullah Geechee people.
