There will be a presentation 7:00 about the constellations, planets, galaxies, star clusters, and other objects visible that night. Viewing will begin afterward at 8:00 and continue until at least midnight. Participants can stay as long or as little as they can. This is a special time of year when the winter constellations are still visible early in the evening and the summer constellations start rising later. The Milky Way might even be on display later in the evening. Our special guest speaker and presenter is Randy Oakes.
There will be a series of programs this month:
April 18th and 26th at Cedars of Lebanon State Park
April 19th and 25th at Henry Horton State Park
ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER DUE TO LIMITED PARKING
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, refreshments, and gear if they have it.
