MURPH Challenge DUT Class

Come join us for a Memorial Day HIIT class in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy. Class will begin at 5:15 PM.

Class will include a modified version of the WOD known as the "MURPH". There will be varying options, so that all members and guests will be able to participate!

U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during Operation Red Wings. His four man SEAL team was deep behind enemy lines taking heavy fire, and he sacrificed his own life to give his men a chance of rescue. Lt. Murphy was killed in action on June 28, 2005. ⁣

What we now call “The MURPH” was one of Lt. Murphy’s favorite workouts. Each year on Memorial Day members of the military, veterans, and patriots complete "MURPHs" to remember and honor Lt. Murphy.⁣
