Taste the Future: Harvest Kernza in the Crop Plot! Kernza is a delicious perennial grain that’s a sustainable alternative to annual wheat because it reduces the need for tilling, fertilizer and pesticides, and has deep roots that store carbon.

Meet University of Minnesota researchers in the Summer Kitchen, taste Minnesota-grown Kernza in the Myers Education Center kitchen, play lawn games, take tours with farm guides, and enjoy the Rootstock Pop-up in the Summer Kitchen.
