Native Plants

Master gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension will be at Champlain Memorial Library July 5th @ 10:30AM, offering a presentation on native plants.

You will learn
- Easy native plants to grow
- How to create a pollinator garden
- The difference between well behaved clumpers, prolific self-seeders and root spreaders
- Choosing plants that bloom at different times
- Native plants that can be grown in containers
- How to plant in “drifts” to benefit pollinators
- Where to get native plants
