Meet Kash Knight — a beautiful, energetic 5-year-old from Kurri Kurri who has already captured the hearts of everyone around him. On Tuesday, 6th May 2025, Kash’s family received the heartbreaking news no parent should ever hear: Kash has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Kash is a cherished part of our community. He’s a proud member of Kurri Kurri Minor Rugby League, a loyal little mate to so many of his friends, and a beloved son, Brother, grandson, and teammate. His family is well-respected and deeply rooted in our town
and now, they need our help.
In true Kurri Kurri spirit, our community is coming together to support Kash and his family during this incredibly difficult time. The Kurri Kurri Minor Rugby League will be hosting a Kick it For Kash Gala Day on July 6th, featuring raffles and silent auctions, with all proceeds going to ease the
financial pressures this journey brings.
