Heard it at the Movies 2025

The Cornwall Hill College Music Academy, in collaboration with The Johannesburg Youth Orchestra (JYO) are producing a show entitled “Heard it at the Movies” following the resounding success of last year’s show which was a sold-out performance. The show is back by popular demand under the baton of Eddie Clayton.

The two aforementioned orchestras are joining forces once again to form a 110-piece symphony orchestra that will be playing live movie music while the audience sits back and watches beautiful footage from the respective movies (much like the recent global phenomenon show, “Disney 100”). This year, we are joined by the world-renowned choir from Kearsney College under the direction of Bernard Krüger. This promises to be yet another amazing production. The show is taking place on Saturday 21 June 2025 at Cornwall Hill College at 15:00 and 19:00.
