Cesarean Essentials

This class is designed to prepare expectant parents for a planned or emergency cesarean birth, providing them with practical knowledge and emotional support. The class covers essential topics such as the reasons for a cesarean, the step-by-step process of the surgery, and what to expect during recovery. We will discuss tips for managing pain, caring for a c-section scar, and supporting the family after surgery. Additionally the class addresses the emotional and physical recovery process, including common concerns like bonding with the baby, breastfeeding after surgery, and the timeline for recovery. This class will equip parents with the tools and information they need to navigate the experience with confidence and reduce any anxiety about the procedure.

$50 - You may be able to get reimbursed from your insurance company.

We recommend taking this class around 34-38 weeks of pregnancy.
