Creating a night of joy, inclusion and connection
With the support of the Albany Community Foundation (ACF) and Platinum Sponsor,
Community Bank Albany, we will be holding the inaugural Community Bank Albany All
Abilities Ball, a groundbreaking formal event designed to create a safe, welcoming, and
inclusive experience for individuals with additional needs, their families, and supports.
On Saturday 4 October 2025, 180 attendees will come together at Retravision Stadium to
enjoy a magical evening of dining, dancing, and celebration—free from barriers.
This event is the first of its kind in the Great Southern region, initiated by Brian and Caroll
Appleby, parents of a 19 year old daughter with a disability and firsthand experience of
the challenges faced by individuals with additional needs in social settings.
The Ball is open to all community members with a disability, aged 18 to 100, their families and
their support network in the community.
