The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is bringing the Rollin' Recmobile to Cleveland Park this summer! Join our friends from the Parks and Rec for FREE fun in the sun at Cleveland Park.
In 2025, Cleveland Park will be recognized as a FREE LUNCH STOP with the Rollin' Recmobile on Tuesdays from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The Rollin' Recmobile will also be at Cleveland Park on Fridays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. There will be NO Rollin' Recmobile on Friday, July 4th, due to the holiday.

Q: What does the Rollin’ Recmobile do?
A: Rollin’ Recmobile is a summer program that brings the fun to you. Our bright vans are scheduled to stop at different Cedar Rapids parks each week. Join us for activities to meet new friends and beat summer boredom.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Rollin’ Recmobile is FREE!
Q: Can I only attend the stop in my neighborhood?
A: You are welcome to attend at any park and time that fits your schedule. You can come as many times a week as you would like.
Q: How were the locations determined?
A: We have tried to balance the locations between multiple areas of Cedar Rapids and stop at as many of our larger parks as we can. Some locations were chosen due to the number of children who have limited access to transportation to other neighborhoods.
Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: If there are storms in the area or tornado watches, we will postpone or cancel the stop until the storm has passed. Get notifications of those changes on CRNewsNow. If a storm comes up quickly, we will send children home. Please make sure your child knows what to do in the event that this happens.
Q: Will the schedule ever change?
A: We plan to follow a consistent schedule that is easy to remember. However, we may occasionally have to make adjustments. Sign up for CRNewsNow to receive changes
Q: Is the van available to be rented for parties?
A: The van is only used for public programs through the Parks and Recreation Department, but there is a "Block 'n Roll" trailer that is available for rent. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department for more information at 319-286-5566.

A: A link to the schedule will be sent out weekly through CRNewsNow. We will also send updates on programs and guests who may be at a park visit with us.
