✨ Say hello to your new favorite summer ritual! This 8-week series is all about mixing up funky, playful flows with the sweetest moments of rest. Each week, we’ll dance, stretch, and breathe our way through fresh music and vibrant vibes—because why not let summer be all about fun, relaxation, and connection? (all 'safe for work' tracks - little, if any Tswift. Sorry, not sorry).
Beginner - Level 1 / Blended Style (Hatha with a sprinkling of flow)
Week 1: Folk & Indie Fusion / June 7
Music: Sweet, mellow folk tunes with a splash of indie magic 🍃🎶
Movement: Flow like a gentle breeze—slow transitions and grounding stretches.
Focus: Find your peaceful center and breathe your way into a calm, steady rhythm.
Rest: Chill out with a dreamy meditation to help you feel all the peaceful feels.
Week 2: Rap / Pop Power / 14
Music: Hip-hop beats and pop anthems—turn the volume up and get moving! 🎧💥
Movement: High-energy, dynamic moves that will have you feeling like a superstar!
Focus: Confidence, strength, and playfulness—move your body like no one’s watching!
Rest: Stretch it out and unwind with some gentle, soothing poses.
Week 3: Ballads & Breath / 21
Music: Slow, soulful ballads that tug at the heartstrings 💖🎤
Movement: Smooth, flowing stretches that feel as soft as a lullaby.
Focus: Embrace your emotions and let your breath guide you toward relaxation and peace.
Rest: Close your eyes and relax into a peaceful meditation—you deserve it!
Week 4: Punk it up / 28
Music: Loud, fast, and oh-so-punk rock! 🎸💥
Movement: Move with wild, fun energy—quick poses, playful transitions, and bold power.
Focus: Release stress, feel free, and embrace your inner rebel.
Rest: Slow it down with grounding stretches and a moment to catch your breath.
Week 5: 90s Favs / July 5
Music: Your favorite 90s jams—pop, rock, and hip-hop nostalgia all the way! 💃🎶
Movement: Get groovy with fun, funky poses and transitions that’ll make you smile.
Focus: Let loose, have fun, and move with freedom like your 9 years old again
Rest: Chill with some easy stretches and a 90s-inspired visualization—think Tamagotchis and Blockbuster. 😉
Week 6: Mystery Week / 12
Music: A surprise playlist—expect the unexpected or maybe expect the incredibly obvious! 🎧🔮
Movement: A mix of playful, grounded, and spontaneous moves to keep you on your toes!
Focus: Let go of expectations and flow with the music—let the mystery guide you.
Rest: A surprise meditation that’ll leave you feeling refreshed and ready for anything.
Week 7: Beachy Vibes / 19
Music: Breezy, tropical tunes that feel like a vacation 🌴🌊
Movement: Soft, flowy poses that make you feel like you're sunbathing by the sea.
Focus: Relaxation and rejuvenation—let your body unwind like you’re on a beachy getaway.
Rest: Close your eyes and imagine yourself by the ocean, letting all the tension melt away.
Week 8: Dance Party / 26
Music: The ultimate dance party playlist to finish the summer strong! 🎉🕺
Movement: Let’s celebrate with upbeat, playful poses and groovy transitions!
Focus: Pure joy, freedom, and movement—this is your time to let it all out and have FUN!
Rest: A peaceful cool-down and gratitude meditation to reflect on all the fun you've had.
