This Pet Social will be our first patio event of the season at Midtown Station. Come enjoy some yummy food and/or drinks while your pet gets some relaxation practice!
**You must RSVP at kingscreatures.com/pet-socials by May 28th to attend this event. Space is limited out of respect for other patrons.**
If you've completed training with King's Creatures or you are currently enrolled in the KCAT Club or any other services with King's Creatures, you are welcome to attend the May Pet Social.
Don't forget your treats, water for your pet, and poop bags!
Vaccines are required.
Pets are never allowed to greet other pets during a Social. This includes pets participating in the Social and/or other pets that happen to walk by or stop in. This rule keeps us all safe AND helps your pet practice engagement and leash manners. This is your chance to advocate for your pet to set them up for success! Need help? I'm happy to jump in to help you explain why declining on leash greetings is best!
Admire other pets from a distance. Never approach someone else's pet unless they invite you over. If it's another Pet Social participant, help them advocate for their pet by never petting unless (1) you've been invited over, (2) the pet waited calmly in a Sit, (3) the pet engaged with the handler to get permission to greet, and (4) the pet has been released to say hi to you!
While there is no extra fee to participate in a Pet Social, we'll support Living Creatures Ministry each month. A $5 donation per animal/handler team is suggested.
These events are limited exclusively to clients that have completed training with King's Creatures or are currently enrolled in the KCAT Club or any other services with King's Creatures.
When you attend a Pet Social, you and your pet will be able to work on structured socialization with other handlers and pets, work on your handling skills in a real life situation, participate in training games and challenges just for fun, and support a local business!
