The Cedar Lake Historical Association presents the Dewey Line Experience at The Museum at Lassen's Resort in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Cruise aboard "Big Dewey," where Cedar Lake history comes alive as you discover the history of Lassen's Resort, from its 1896 founding with a single steamboat that ferried passengers from the Monon rail depot to all points around the lake, through its bustling years as a summer getaway. Your boat ticket includes same-day admission to The Museum at Lassen's Resort to experience the Story of Cedar Lake exhibit gallery.
EVENT TERMS:
*Parking is in the public lot on the town grounds. During Summerfest, there is a $10 parking fee.
*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the listed departure time.
*Your purchase includes a ticket to tour the Story of Cedar Lake museum exhibit gallery. You may save your tickets for redemption during general operating hours on any day in the 2025 season for all passengers in your party.
*Upon arrival, check in at the museum front desk to receive your boarding pass.
*Each cruise passenger must sign the passenger manifest at the front desk.
*Safety instruction will take place prior to embarkation. ALL CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13 MUST WEAR A LIFE VEST. If your child is under 30 pounds, please provide a U.S. Coast Guard approved PFD. For children over 30 pounds and all adults, life vests will be provided.
*Cruise excursion will last 30 minutes.
