Voices of the Ancients: Archaeology and Oral Tradition in the American West Session II

The Voices of the Ancients Institute will model an authentic archaeological investigation of the Fremont culture using classroom-ready curricular materials, first-hand experiences with significant landmarks, direct connections with descendant community members, and oral history. Teachers will leave the institute armed with the tools and materials to replicate inquiry-based learning with their students, which dives deep into authentic content and illuminates a little-known part of American history.

The institute will be offered only once July 13-18, 2025. 40 participants max. and payment will secure your spot! $600.
