Be transported to another time and place "Bonne fête nationale" signifies "Happy National Day" in English. It is a common greeting used in France on the 14th of July, which is Bastille Day, the French national holiday. Vive la France et bon 14 juillet ! Liberté, égalité, fraternité !

There’s something about the melodic, breathy tones of the accordion that transports the listener to another place or time. Maybe a bal-musette in Paris, a youthful romance in Rome, a distant memory of a Melbourne dancehall or a railway station in Berlin.
