WINTER OF DISCO CONTENT comes to Castlemaine with three hot DJs to warm yo ass up: Joey Lightbulb, Jen Moore and Pearl.
DJ Joey Lightbulb (Mikey Cahill) is the carryover Interstitial DJ champion of Golden Plains 16/17 who has supported The Presets, Roisin Murphy, Chet Faker, Tash Sultana in the last 12 months, sold out four (!) Night Cat shows and a Northcote Social Club too.
He is officially on one at the moment. DMs are open to requests, everything is on the table.
Jen Moore is a low-key local icon of the Castlemaine scene. The last few times she's played Boomtown Jen left behind smouldering rubble. Expect the unexpected, a mixed bag of eclectic musical delights. Many of you will know her from when she did her Monday breakfast show Loose 'n' Up each week on Main FM, others will have thrown shapes to her impeccably chosen vinyl sets, some of you will have your first Jen Moore experience on July 12, lucky you!
The divine miss Pearl, you know dat girl. The Castlemaine staple is known as much for her singer songwriter jazzy diss-tracks as her booty bass *bouillabaisse bangers (as coined by Tim "Karmagiana" Sproal, nice meta reference). Pearl has DJed The Retreat Hotel in Brunswick, Theatre Royal, Love Shack and she'll be slinging heaters from Peggy Gou, Gloria Jones, Lil Kim, Inner City, Green Velvet, Afrika Bambaataa and Deelite.
