The Essence of Folklore: Mexican Folkloric Dance Co. of Chicago, Cuerdas Clasicas, and Dos Fronteras

Celebrate the spirit of Cinco de Mayo at John A Logan College as we welcome the prestigious, world renown Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago, Cuerdas Clasicas -troubadours and bohemians who perform classical strings music in the Estudiantina tradition established in sixteenth century Spain - and SIU's own Ballet Folklorico Dos Fronteras. An incredible evening of authentic culture and folklore not to be missed!! This event is brought to you by an Illinois Arts Council Creative Catalyst grant and with funds from the Illinois Humanities Foreground Rural Initiative.
