The 2024-2025 Carroll County 4-H Air Rifle team had a very successful season!
Zachary won the Daisy Nationals in Arkansas in Air rifle- he took home 4 medals and 2 giant checks.
The team took 2nd place at CMP state and qualified for Nationals in Ohio. The team then competed against the best sporter teams in the nation up at Camp Perry and ended up middle of the pack. Ashlyn won first in the under 15 age group.
The team won 2nd place at the 4-H State match.
They won first place at the 2025 Dixie Challenge.
Add to that numerous medals at the monthly matches and postal matches, and constantly improving with new personal best scores--the team was on fire this year!
After a short break following the National Air Gun matches, we are getting ready to start up the 2025-2026 season!! If you'd like to join the team, come out to orientation on Monday Aug 4, 6:30pm at the Carroll County Ag Center. Meet the team, ask your questions, try it out.
