10 Things I Date About You

A high-school boy, Cameron, cannot date Bianca until her anti-social older sister, Kat, has a boyfriend. So, Cameron pays a mysterious boy, Patrick, to charm Kat.

10 Things I Hate About You is a teen romantic comedy, a modern adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, about new student Cameron who wants to date Bianca, but her strict father won't allow it until her rebellious older sister, Kat, has a boyfriend, leading Cameron to pay the mysterious "bad boy" Patrick Verona to woo Kat. The film stars Julia Stiles as Kat, Heath Ledger as Patrick, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cameron, and is known for its witty dialogue, iconic scenes (like the bleacher serenade), and its place in the late '90s rom-com era.
