Many houseplants can be propagated easily by taking a cutting and keeping it submerged in clean water. You should eventually see roots forming at a node below the water line.
For this event, we're asking gardeners to please bring rooted cuttings only, as there is a risk of losing props before they form roots. We want to ensure that everyone has an equal chance of growing a new plant at home!
If you are an outdoor gardener, you are welcome to bring divisions or cuttings as well. Please bring potted divisions if possible. We will also have extra garden soil here for anyone who needs it.
